BAERING has announced the promotion of Erin Smith from senior account supervisor to vice president. In her new role, Smith joins the firm’s senior leadership team, and will lead campaign strategy and planning for many of the firm’s largest accounts.
For BAERING’s clients, Smith conceives of and delivers thought leadership campaigns, custom events, community relations programs, and brand reputation initiatives to promote employee recruitment and retention, brand reputation and community relations engagement.
Smith joined BAERING in November 2010 as an account executive, responsible for overseeing client relations, developing public relations and social media strategies, and executing campaign initiatives for a diverse range of B2B and B2C clients. An experienced leader, her areas of expertise include strategic communications, thought leadership, events management and crisis communications management. In 2005, Smith received a Bachelor of Arts in communication and Spanish from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
